MR Enterography 

• Patients <60 years old; must have an initial CTE
• Patient must be NPO (nothing to eat or drink) for 8 hours before MRI scan
• Oral contrast: 3 bottles of Volumen 1 hour before the exam (1 bottle every 20 min) – important to start scan as soon as          finish drinking
• Obtain IV access before patient is finished drinking to avoid delays

2. CORONAL T2 HASTE – dome of liver to anus
3. AXIAL T2 HASTE – dome of liver to anus
4. AXIAL T2 HASTE FS – dome of liver to anus
5. CORONAL TRUFI – dome of liver to anus
6. AXIAL DIFFUSION – dome of liver to anus, b values of 50, 400 and 800
7. MD CHECK for CINE CORONAL TRUFI – cover all of bowel anterior to posterior

Inject Glucagon 1 mg IM

8. AXIAL VIBE – dome of liver to anus
9. CORONAL VIBE – dome of liver to anus

Inject contrast

10. CORONAL VIBE 70 seconds – dome of liver to anus
11. AXIAL VIBE 70 seconds – dome of liver to anus
12. CORONAL VIBE 7 minutes – dome of liver to anus
13. AXIAL VIBE 7 minutes – dome of liver to anus
